The Dream Warmer™ is affordable, reusable, washable and sanitary, and can be used by anyone, anywhere. As a non-electric infant warmer, it supports skin-to-skin (STS), also known as Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC).
Safety and durability are our top priority as we design products for use among vulnerable populations. With this in mind, the Dream Warmer has been developed to meet the highest standards and has successfully undergone significant testing both in the laboratory and field settings to ensure there is no risk of toxicity, irritation, or skin sensitization.
The Dream Warmer™ Solution
Skin-to-Skin Complement
Heat to supplement skin-to-skin (STS) or used on its own
Safe
Temperature indicator clarifies safe start time
Affordable
Costs less and lasts longer than any other multi-use infant warmer on the market
Intuitive
Easy to prepare, use, and clean with minimal training. Low- literacy instructions provided
Our mattress is composed of multiple Phase Change Material (PCM) “candles” designed to remain at skin temperature.
The Phase Change Material (PCM) mattress slides into an insulating sleeve that is constructed with sturdy neoprene material that requires no attached fabric and can be easily cleaned and reused.
Once the Phase Change Material (PCM) shifts from solid to liquid, the mattress maintains 37°C temperature until it cools to the solid phase.
The mattress is heated by placing it in a thermos and filling it with boiled water, making it easy to prepare even in remote settings. The mattress is then inserted into a neoprene sleeve, which provides comfort and insulation to maximize duration of heat transfer.
